Striking study of a girl lying on her bed.
Sketched directly onto a copper plate with a pencil, followed by traditional engraving techniques.
Attracted to the unusual view point of looking down onto the model.
The immediacy of the dry-point needle can produce some unexpected results.
Flowing lines and suggestive shapes contrast well against the paler tones, all painted with watercolour.
Very pleased with the finished image and its spontaneous feel.
