Sensitive line drawing of a model at a 'life' class.
Sketched directly onto a copper plate with a bamboo pen and sugar-lift solution, then acid etched using traditional intaglio techniques.
Attracted to the view from above looking down upon the posed figure.
Thick and thin marks of the pen help describe the model's proportions.
Especially pleased with the finished work showing the cropped composition, as the figure's limbs touch all sides of the image.
Location: Figurative etchings and engravings.
