I like to experiment with different drawing media to try and achieve a particular look or feel. Recently I have introduced more background textures to help compliment some of the strong graphic lines. Other images work equally as well with just a few simple lines, less is more.
Each print is individually hand made by myself, works are presented against dark backgrounds to show deckle edge of the papers.

Sketched directly onto a copper plate with a bamboo pen and sugar-lift solution, then acid etched using traditional intaglio techniques.
Thick and thin lines contrast well against the paler tones.
Especially pleased with the finished image showing the exaggerated shapes of the model's torso and limbs.
